Scrapbooking scissors are perhaps the most important tool in creating any layout or off the page creation. The three main categories of scissors will be discussed here: general scissors, special purpose scissors and fancy or edging scissors.

The Wave pattern is a Scrapbookings Scissor is a very easy to use and makes a great pattern to follow as you make longer cuts. A wave pattern is a classic pattern that guarantee to lift any paper edge. One the the all time classic ones to have around and use daily.
The great Deckle pattern is a Scrapbookings Scissor. The cut is a little more irregular with deeper cuts which is a subtle pattern that replicates a torn edge of paper. Great for accurate trimming and adjustments when tearing pieces for collage.
The Aradian pattern is a Scrapbookings Scissor that is a little harder to master. However it makes a great pattern with peaks that add great detail to your longer cuts. The Arabian pattern is a different pattern that is off the normal path but a strike one to use.
The Clouds pattern is a Scrapbookings Scissor that is easy to use and makes a very sample pattern to follow as you make longer cuts.
There is very practical technique that most scrapbook’s use everyday without thinking and the most asked question I get “What is the best way to cut a straight line when using paper edge scissors?”. Producing a straight line allows you to produce quality work that has a very artistic effect on your finish piece.
These Fringe scissors are amazing time savers. Now you can cut perfectly even fringe boarders. Great for making grass or perhaps hair, fur, confetti and even shredding paper. I find that people use hot laminating machines to keep important documents from getting worn or destroyed. You might be surprised to know that laminating is a great tool for Scrapbooking projects. The main purpose of Scrapbooking is to preserve memories.
